Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: June 28, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the principles that govern the use of the systems, services, and products provided by HosterBolt. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time.

1. Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

HosterBolt maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for unsolicited commercial email (UCE) and unsolicited bulk email (UBE), commonly known as "spam". Any user who sends out spam will have their account terminated without notice.

  • No Bulk Emailing: The sending of bulk emails, regardless of opt-in status, is strictly monitored and limited on our shared infrastructure.
  • Immediate Termination: Accounts found to be originating spam or associated with spam-vertised sites will be immediately suspended or terminated.
  • No Refunds: Accounts terminated due to spam violations are not eligible for any form of refund.

2. Prohibited Content

To maintain the integrity and security of our network, certain types of content and activities are strictly prohibited on HosterBolt servers.

Banned Materials Include:
  • Illegal streaming or distribution of copyrighted material without authorization.
  • Phishing sites, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive marketing practices.
  • Distribution or hosting of malware, viruses, trojans, or malicious scripts.
  • Sites promoting illegal acts, violence, or hate speech.

3. Resource Usage Limits

Shared hosting environments require fair use of resources to ensure performance stability for all clients. HosterBolt enforces reasonable limits on system resources.

Inode Limits

Accounts are limited to 250,000 inodes. Exceeding this limit will result in warnings and potential suspension to prevent file system degradation.

Database Queries

Continuous, high-frequency database querying that impacts server load (e.g., poorly optimized scripts) must be resolved upon notification.

File Storage Rules

Hosting space is intended for web files and site data. Use of hosting space for long-term archival, backup storage, or massive media repositories is prohibited on shared plans.

4. Analytics and Cookies Usage

To remain legally compliant and ensure the best possible experience, HosterBolt utilizes cookies and tracking technologies, including Google Analytics.

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and user behavior. This helps us optimize our services. The script is only loaded upon your explicit consent.
  • Cookie Consent: Essential cookies are used for site functionality, while non-essential tracking cookies require your acceptance through our cookie banner.
  • Compliance: Your data and browsing habits are handled in strict adherence to data protection regulations. Users reserve the right to decline non-essential tracking.
